The Philosophy Shop responsible for The Philosophers Football Match does its best to ensure that all the information on this website is current and accurate. However, mistakes can occur, so we would encourage anyone who may be thinking of making a special trip based on information displayed on the website, to confirm that the information is correct. 1. Definitions

1.1 In these terms and conditions the following words shall have the meanings set out below:
"Booking Form" means the series of pages for the booking of Tickets set out on The Philosophers’ Football Match website.
"The Philosophy Shop” means The Philosophy Shop CIC of 10 Hennel Close, Forest Hill, London, SE23 2NT.
"Contract" means any contract for the purchase of Tickets made between you and The Philosophy Shop.
"Tickets" means tickets offered for sale by The Philosophy Shop for attending The Philosophers’ Football Match of Sunday 9th May, 3pm, The Harry Abrahams Stadium, Summers Lane, Finchley, London, N12 OPD.

2. Our Contract With You

2.1 These terms and conditions govern all Contracts.
2.2 Your Contract with The Philosophy Shop will be concluded as follows:
2.2.1 Completion of the Booking Form shall constitute an offer by you to purchase Tickets subject to these terms and conditions.
2.3 The prices and availability of the Tickets are specified on The Philosophy Shop's Philosophers’ Football Match website. These details are based on the best available information and The Philosophy Shop is not obliged to conclude any Contract on these terms.
2.4 You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the Booking Form. You warrant that all details supplied by you are true and accurate. If there are any changes to your details once your booking is concluded then it is your responsibility to inform The Philosophy Shop.
2.5 Where a person makes a booking on behalf of a party, that person accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payments due from the party.
2.6 Booking services with The Philosophy Shop are only available to persons who are at least 18 years of age. By submitting a Booking Form you warrant and confirm to The Philosophy Shop that you comply with those arrangements.
2.7 The Philosophy Shop reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any Tickets ordered.
2.8 It is your responsibility to check that the Tickets issued to you are accurate.

3. Pricing

3.1 The price of all Tickets purchased via The Philosophy Shop’s Philosophers’ Football Match website is subject to a non-refundable per order processing and delivery charge of £2.50 which is set out in the Booking Form.
3.2 Tickets purchased on the day are priced at £20 and are subject to availability.

4. Terms of Payment

All Tickets purchased via The Philosophy Shop’s Philosophers’ Football Match website must be paid for in full at the time of booking including delivery charges.

5. Delivery

5.1 The Philosophy Shop shall use its best endeavours to post all Tickets to you within 10 days of making a booking.
5.2 Tickets will be posted to you by First Class post. The Philosophy Shop will not, however, accept any responsibility for documents mislaid or lost by the Royal Mail.

6. Alterations and Cancellations

6.1 The Philosophy Shop does not permit Tickets to be refunded after purchase, except where The Philosophers’ Football Match has been cancelled. Where monies are refunded, such refunds are limited to the face value of the Tickets purchased.
6.2 All Tickets are sold subject to The Philosophy Shop's right to make any alterations to the Teams advertised on the Philosopher’s Football Match website or elsewhere which are rendered necessary by an unavoidable cause.

7. Liabilities of The Philosophy Shop

7.1 Subject to Clause 7.3 below, The Philosophy Shop will only be liable to you for direct losses arising as a result of:
(i) a breach of these terms and conditions by The Philosophy Shop; and
(ii) any fraudulent statement or negligent act by The Philosophy Shop arising under or in connection with the Contract.
7.2 The Philosophy Shop's total liability under clause 7.1 above shall be limited to the total face value of the Tickets.
7.3 Nothing in this Clause 7 or these terms and conditions excludes or limits the liability of The Philosophy Shop for death or personal injury caused by The Philosophy Shop's negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7.4 The Philosophy Shop will not be liable in any way if the Philosophers’ Football Match is abandoned due to any factors which are beyond The Philosophy Shop's reasonable control. Without limiting the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as causes beyond The Philosophy Shop's reasonable control:
(i) Acts of God, which include earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost;
(ii) Force Majeure which includes war, accidents, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes and civil commotions;
(iii) Power failure and failure of football ground equipment.

8. Website Use

8.1 All contents of this website are protected by intellectual property rights and other related rights. No part of this website may be reproduced in any form (electronically or otherwise) without the prior consent of The Philosophy Shop other than temporarily in the course of using the Philosophers’ Football Match website’s booking service.
8.2 The Philosophy Shop reserves the right to refuse or remove anything which is transmitted via or posted on The Philosophy Shop's Philosophers’ Football Match website and which, in The Philosophy Shop’s opinion, is objectionable or does not comply with these terms and conditions. The Philosophy Shop shall not in any way be liable for such actions.

9. Submitting text for publication on philosophersfootball.com

9.1 Users of our site may submit material for publication in the Supporters area of the site. We accept no liability in respect of any material submitted by users and published by us and we are not responsible for its content and accuracy.
9.2 If you want to submit material to us for publication on philosophersfootball.com, you may do so on the following terms and conditions:
(i) publication of any material you submit to us will be at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to make additions or deletions to the text, or to remove the material in its entirety after publication
(ii) you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to republish any material you submit to us in any format, including without limitation print and electronic format
(iii) you warrant to us that any material you submit to us is your own original work and that you own the copyright and any other relevant rights
(iv) you warrant that the material you submit is not obscene, offensive, defamatory of any person or otherwise illegal
(v) you agree not to post material which is deliberately intended to upset other users

10. Links to Third Party Sites

The Philosophy Shop's Philosophers’ Football Match website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than The Philosophy Shop. The operation of such websites is outside The Philosophy Shop's control and you proceed at your own risk. The Philosophy Shop does not endorse or sponsor and is not liable for the products, services or content you access through any linked site.

11. Privacy Policy

The details which you provide about yourself and any information which identifies you such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, country of residence ("Personal Information") will only be retained by us if you provide this information when using one of the services available on our website, such as posting a message of support, requesting information, or when purchasing tickets. Personal Information will be held on our system and used for operational purposes such as the processing of ticket bookings and for information requests.
When purchasing tickets you are given the opportunity to receive information from The Philosophy Shop on Philosophy in Schools. In this instance, The Philosophy Shop will only contact you for this purpose and will not share your Personal Information with other organisations.

12. Entire Agreement

It is the intention of The Philosophy Shop that all terms of the Contract between The Philosophy Shop and you are contained in these terms and conditions. If you wish to rely on any variation of these terms, you must ensure that such variation is in writing and signed by you and on behalf of The Philosophy Shop before any Contract is made.

13. Severability

If any part of these terms and conditions are not enforceable then this will not affect the enforceability of any other part.

14. Safety and Enjoyment

14.1 The Philosophy Shop reserves the right to refuse admission and may request any Ticket holders to leave (taking any such appropriate action which may be necessary to enforce this right) before or during the Philosophers’ Football Match if it is necessary to do so. Proof of age may be required and The Philosophy Shop may also have to conduct security searches to ensure your safety.
14.2 Every effort will be made by The Philosophy Shop to sell Tickets on the day of the Philosophers’ Football Match, but these are subject to availability so we would encourage anyone who wants to attend to book Tickets via the website. If the booking period is closed, please email thinking@philosophersfootball.com to check availability.
14.3 The Philosophy Shop cannot permit alcohol to be brought into the football grounds.
14.4 To be admitted you must be in possession of a valid Ticket. Entry is free for children aged 14 and under, with an accompanying adult. Proof of age may be required.
14.5 The Philosophy Shop or any permitted third parties may carry out general filming and sound recording in or about the Philosophers’ Football Match grounds. By purchasing Tickets you consent to you and your party being included in and to the exploitation of such films and recordings without payment.

15. Governing Law

These terms and conditions and any Contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and all disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
